Nino Burdjanadze presented her election platform

Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burdjanadze presented her election program on August 8, however she still refrained to name her political partners for upcoming Parliamentary elections scheduled for November 2.

Burdjanadze?s platform includes, as she said, ?revolutionary changes without revolution.? Restoration of the territorial integrity, overcoming of economic crisis, and strengthening of democratic values are the main principles of the Parliamentary Chairperson?s election program.

She called the opposition parties to unite under these principles and resist dangerous trends that take place in Georgia right now.

?Now we are witnessing a "war" against the values that are so vital for us and we are witnessing a "war" against the opposition parties,? Nino Burdjanadze said on August 8.

Foreign diplomats accredited in Georgia, as well as representatives of opposition parties attended the presentation of Nino Burdjanadze's election platform.
