One person detained in case on attack against Grigol Gegeliya

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported about the detention of a man involved in the attack on Grigol Gegeliya, one of the leaders of the opposition “Lelo” Party.

One person has been detained in a case opened in connection with the attack on Grigol Gegeliya, the “Interpressnews” news agency reported on May 25 with reference to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The man has been detained under Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (violence that caused physical pain to the victim, but did not result in intentional infliction of minor bodily harm).
