Drones shot down in Rostov region

The military destroyed drones launched from Ukraine in Novoshakhtinsk and Aksaysky District.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on the night of July 1, drones were shot down in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as in Millerovsky, Myasnikovsky, Aksaysky, Neklinovsky and Matveyevo-Kurgansky Districts of Rostov Oblast. According to the Defense Ministry, 16 drones were shot down in the region.

Last night, air defense forces destroyed UAVs in Novoshakhtinsk and the Aksaysky district, Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.

"Preliminary, no one was hurt, no damage on the ground was recorded. The information is being clarified," he wrote at 05.37 Moscow time. As of 06:49 Moscow time, the official had not published any new information about the consequences of the attack.

Recall that the territory of the Rostov region has been regularly subjected to drone attacks since the start of the Russian operation in Ukraine. Thus, on the night of June 25, drones were shot down in Azov, Taganrog and the Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky district. In Azov, the roof of a grain warehouse in the port was damaged, and in Taganrog - the building of the Avangard sports complex, a school and two houses.
