Officials and security forces have publicly recognized at least 3,479 soldiers from the Southern Federal District and 3,473 from the North Caucasus Federal District as killed in the war zone in Ukraine.

A resident of the village of Lukovskaya, Alexander Krasavin, born in 1983, was killed in the military operation, the Mozdok District Administration reported on its Telegram channel on July 5. The details of the fighter's biography and death are not provided in the publication.
