The queue in front of the Crimean Bridge exceeded 1,100 cars

Drivers of 990 cars are waiting to cross the bridge across the Kerch Strait in Krasnodar Krai, 129 cars are in line from the Crimean side.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, traffic jams in front of the Crimean Bridge formed today after 02:00 Moscow time. By 06:00 Moscow time, 475 cars were in line from the Taman side , there was no line from the Kerch side in front of the inspection point.

As of 09:00 Moscow time, 990 cars are in line to the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side, the Information Center for Highways to the Crimean Bridge reported on its Telegram channel. "The wait is about three hours. There are 129 vehicles in the queue from the Kerch side," the report says.

There is a long queue from Taman

Today, users of the "Crimean Bridge Chat" telegram chat also reported traffic jams in front of the bridge. "There's a long queue from Taman," L. P. wrote, in particular, at 08:11 Moscow time.

"06:24 we got stuck in a traffic jam from the Taman side. 08:00 on the bridge. The inspection took exactly 20 minutes," Elena Vetoshkina reported.

"We've already driven 15 km from the Kerch side, and the traffic jam is still standing. Cars are just getting bigger," Anechka shared her observations.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, the FSB said that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. Traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later.
