A queue of 990 cars formed in front of the Crimean Bridge in Kuban

From the Taman side, drivers and passengers of 990 cars are waiting to cross the bridge across the Kerch Strait.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on the morning of July 20, the queue in front of the Crimean Bridge from both sides exceeded 1,100 cars.

According to data as of 03.32 Moscow time today, July 21, there are 990 vehicles in the queue to the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side. "The wait is about three hours," says a message in the Telegram channel of the Information Center for Highways to the Crimean Bridge.

It is also reported that there is no queue in front of the inspection point on the Kerch side.

Users of the chat "Crimean Bridge Chat" confirmed the presence of a queue. "We drove 20 meters in 20 minutes," noted an anonymous user. "We've been standing for an hour, drove a kilometer, and the traffic jam is 8," confirmed Yura.

"What a surprise. We thought there would be fewer cars at night," complained Lyudmila.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, and two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, the FSB stated that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later.
