Contract soldier from Astrakhan region killed in combat

At least 3,503 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 3,547 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Arman Seytaliev, born in 1987, was killed in the military operation, the Volodarsky District Administration reported on its Telegram channel on July 20.

Seytaliev served in the Federal Penitentiary Service for 12.5 years and retired in 2023. In 2024, he signed a contract and went to the military operation zone, where he was killed on July 7, 2025, the publication says.

Thus, at least 577 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
