Chechen refugees in Ingushetia are afraid of eviction
Chechen refugees from the tent camp "Bart" in Ingushetia are afraid of eviction. Their anxiety is caused by threats to liquidate a part of the camp coming from officials of the Ingush Union "Avtodor".
The direction of the organization intends to pull down 28 tents siding with the camp and situated on the territory of "Avtodor" in order to use this place for an asphalted road and a car park. All 190 people living in those 28 tents are deeply concerned with their future.
Human rights activists connect the fact of threatening directly with a forthcoming presidential election in Chechnya, as well as with Akhmad Kadirov's statement that "no tent will stay in Ingushetia in September".
According to the data of the migration service, 3 thousand people live in the camp "Bart" now, and about 13 thousand refugees from Chechnya in all stay in tent camps in Ingushetia.
