A fighter from the Astrakhan region was killed in a military operation

Volgomurat Konskaliev was born on January 25, 1972, in the village of Novovasilyevo, Volodarsky District. After finishing school, he entered college and received the specialty of projectionist. In 1990-1992, he did his military service. He worked as a motor mechanic on the Pamyat Ilyicha collective farm. At the direction of the collective farm board, he completed training and received the profession of a small vessel captain, continuing to work in his native district. Later - in the Multanovsky village council, where he worked as a captain on a ferry crossing. Since 2016, he worked in Samara, as a trackman for Russian Railways. In 2024, he signed a contract to participate in a special military operation. He was killed on March 25, 2025, the administration of the Volodarsky district reported on July 21 in its Telegram channel.

Thus, at least 578 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
