17 drones shot down in Rostov region and Kuban

The military destroyed 12 drones launched from Ukraine in the Rostov region at night. Another five drones were shot down in the Krasnodar region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as Myasnikovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Neklinovsky and Tarasovsky districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones last night. As a result of the attack, homes of Novoshakhtinsk residents and villagers in the Neklinovsky district were damaged. The authorities promised to help the victims restore their property.

During the past night, 60 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed, 12 of them in the Rostov region and five in the Krasnodar region, the Ministry of Defense reported.

In addition, four drones were shot down over the Black Sea and one over the Sea of Azov. The remaining drones were destroyed in the Belgorod, Voronezh, Lipetsk and Tula regions, according to a message on the department's Telegram channel.

The Kuban operational headquarters reposted this publication on its Telegram channel without providing any other details about the drone attack.

Recall that on July 29, a driver of a car died in a drone attack in Salsk, and two sappers were killed while demining the drone. As a result of the drone attack, 11 private and 10 apartment buildings were damaged.

On July 26, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and six districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones. In the Zimovnikovsky district, a car burned down near the highway as a result of the attack, and two people died. According to the authorities, both of the deceased are residents of Kalmykia.

On July 23, two women and a man were taken to a hospital in Novocherkassk, injured in the drone attack.
