Dagestan native suspected of justifying terrorism

A criminal investigation has been launched against a native of the Kizilyurt district. According to investigators, while outside the country, he posted an audio recording justifying terrorism in one of the messengers.

The Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan, based on materials from the regional UFSB of Russia, opened a criminal case against a resident of the Kizilyurt district. He is suspected of publicly justifying terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to investigators, in July 2024, the suspect, while outside the Russian Federation, posted an audio recording in one of the messengers aimed at "forming an ideology of terrorism and justifying terrorist activity."

He is accused of spreading fakes and discrediting the armed forces, as well as justifying terrorism. .
