More than 600 victims have filed applications for payments in the Tuapse region

The authorities reported on assistance to those affected by flooding in the Krasnodar Territory: rescuers are removing silt from farmsteads and restoring water supply.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, people who live in the part of the village of Lermontovo beyond the Shapsukho River, after the collapse of the bridge faced difficulties - it is almost impossible to get to the center of the village, buy food, medicine.

 Specialists examined more than 300 houses damaged by flooding in the Tuapse district of Kuban, several hundred applications for compensation payments from residents were accepted.

"The work of the commissions to assess the damage to the population continues. 25 working groups have been created. 310 households have already been examined. Applications for compensation payments have been accepted from 616 people whose property was damaged by the flood," the head of the Tuapse municipal district, Sergei Boyko, wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that in the village of Moldovanovka on the Shapsukho River, on the site of a car bridge washed away by the flood, rescuers built a temporary crossing. "In Novomikhaylovskoye, repair and restoration work at the sewage pumping stations has been completed. Water supply has been restored throughout the village. In the villages of Moldovanovka and Defanovka in Kuban, electricity has been fully restored," Boyko wrote.

Rescuers have removed more than 600 tons of garbage

"In the Tuapse district, 965 specialists and 87 units of equipment continue to eliminate the consequences of the cyclone. Rescuers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry continue to clear silt and sediment from social facilities, and help residents of the private sector. 600 tons of garbage and silt have been removed from flooded areas," the department's Telegram channel said.

The ministry notes that in the village of Lermontovo in Kuban, the water main has been partially restored. As for the village of Novomikhaylovskoye, the water supply has been fully restored.

It should be noted that by the evening of August 3, the authorities of the Tuapse region reported the participation of more than 200 people in eliminating the consequences of the flooding. However, the authors of comments on social networks complained that help never arrived. Commentators in Telegram channels are concerned about the lack of water in the affected areas.
