The first batches of humanitarian aid have been delivered to residents of the Gaza Strip, in total about a million people will receive it.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel wrote, on August 7, the Chechen authorities decided to resume collecting aid for the Gaza Strip in the form of food, medicine and other necessary goods, the curator of the direction was appointed Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic Adam Kadyrov.

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced on his Telegram channel on August 22 that the first batches of aid had been delivered to residents of the Gaza Strip. According to him, about a million people will receive it in the next few days.

According to Kadyrov, the Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov Regional Public Fund delivered 50,000 portions of prepared food, 250 tons of rice, 200 tons of flour, 168 tons of sugar, 243 tons of pasta and 500 tons of drinking water to the Gaza Strip. He also specified that this work is being coordinated by Chechen Minister for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information Akhmed Dudayev and the commander of the A.A. Kadyrov Special Police Regiment Zamid Chalayev. As for Adam Kadyrov, "his daily control and attention to each stage ensure reliable and effective implementation of the mission."

It should be noted that on August 20, Israeli Armed Forces spokesman Effie Defrin announced the start of the first stage of the offensive on Gaza City; according to him, Israeli troops have already consolidated their positions on the outskirts of the city.
