Soldiers' fire in suburbs of Grozny
On August 10, 2003 an explosive assembly detonated on the road leading from Grozny in the direction of the Shatoysky region of the republic (not far from the village of Prigorodnoye). Right after it Russian soldiers blocked transport movement along this part of the road and opened a disorderly fire from all kinds of weapon in all directions.
According to the words of local residents, the fire lasted about 40 minutes. Splinters and bullets flew into the yards of local inhabitants, and only by pure accident there were no victims among people.
