Separatists fired at commandant's building
As it was reported at the Achkhoy-Martan regional interior department, the commandant's office in the Chechen settlement Samashki was attacked by separatists on August 15. Two soldiers were dead and about 10 soldiers got wounds of different severity as a result of a massive fire on the building from the automatic and grenade-guns.
Special elements of interior troops and local militia took research actions in the settlement and nearby forestry, but the attackers succeeded to escape. According to the words of local residents, there were no less than 50 attackers. No local resident suffered during a fight lasting about an hour.
