Armenia: GALA TV Company looks for place to install its antenna

In Armenia, the GALA TV Company looks for alternatives to restart broadcasting. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that Vaan Khachatryan, owner of the TV Company, has assured that GALA will surely find a new place for its sending antenna.

"The fact that persecution of the GALA TV Company began after some politicians had performed on air, indicates that the reason of this sort of attitude to the Company is not in the taxation but in the political sphere," Joseph Pennington, Charge d'Affaires of the USA in Armenia, told the Radio Liberty.

According to his story, stopping GALA would not soothe the tension. The American diplomat has also noted that the people's attitude to this TV Company evidences its demand by the society.
