Deputies ask Armenian prosecutor to release their colleagues from arrest
The parliamentary faction "Heritage" which about a week ago started to collect signatures in the Armenia's National Assembly under the address to the Prosecutor General with a request to change the measure of restraint with regard to the deputies arrested in connection with the March 1 events, has already handed the petition to the prosecutor's office.
This has been relayed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Vardan Khachatrian, political secretary of the opposition party "Heritage", parliament deputy representing the party faction.
As regards to who of the deputies, apart from the six faction members and Viktor Dallakian, independent deputy, signed the petition, V.Khachatrian mentioned the names of Vardan Bostnadzhan, Armen Abramian, deputies representing the faction "Flourishing Armenia" and the republican Leva Khachatyrian.
