The jury return the persons suspected of explosion at Cherkizovo market in Moscow guilty

Today, the jury of the Moscow city court has passed a guilty verdict on the case of an explosion at Moscow's Cherkizovo market in August 2006.

According to Anna Usacheva, head of the Moscow city court press-service, "the jury have passed a decision which is a guilty verdict with regard to all the defendants."

In particular, with regard to the explosion at Cherkizovo market the defendants Nikolai Korolev, Sergei Klimuk, Oleg Kostarev and Valeri Zhukovtsov are held guilty of committing a terrorist act, murdering 14 people and attempting to murder 61 people. They all are considered by the jury as not deserving mercy.

Additionally, defendant Nikolai Seniukov is held guilty of murdering Vighen Abramiants, Armenian student, at the metro station "Pushkinskaya" in 2006, reports ITAR-TASS.

As the "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier, there were eight persons in the dock. They were accused of being members of the neo-Nazi group "Spas". Nikolai Korolev, the group leader, was accused of forming a criminal community for committing serious and especially serious crimes which committed nine terrorist acts.
