Plenipotentiary envoy of Abkhazian President categorically denies the guilt of Gali militia in death of local resident

Ruslan Kishmariya, plenipotentiary envoy of the President of Abkhazia in the Gali District, treated as improbable the message from Georgia that "Abkhazian militiamen killed a Georgian national-resident of the Gali District Zhilber Kuprava, 65, when he was coming back in the morning on July 25 to his native village of Nabakevi from Zugdidi."

"Indeed, Zhilber Kuprava died, but no for the guilt of the Abkhazian militia, the resident of Nabakevi has died a natural death," Mr Kishmariya said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. As he said, the Georgian party made use of Kuprava's death to its own benefit in order to expose, on the visit day of US and German delegations to the Republic,  the law enforcement bodies of the Gali District in the negative light.

Let us note here that today the Georgian TV company "Rustavi-2" has disseminated the information that Abkhazian militiamen beat Kuprava to death several meters off the post of Russian peacemakers, and then brought his body to the Gali prosectorium.
