Amnesty International concerned with pre-electoral situation in Armenia

The Amnesty International has disseminated a statement where its concern is expressed with the situation in Armenia after this year's March events.

This international human rights organization indicates to cases of beating journalists in the course and after elections and causing damage to media's property. "We are also concerned with the freedom of assemblies and fair investigation of the events on March 1 in Yerevan. In this context we call on the authorities of Armenia to conduct a fair inquiry," the statement runs.
