At least 7 casualties in Northern Caucasus within a week

During the week from December 11 to December 17, at least seven persons were killed and fifteen more wounded as a result armed clashes and terror acts committed in Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan. The figures were received by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the report of the Anti-War Club compiled on the basis of publications in a number of mass media.

All the seven casualties died from gunshot wounds in Chechnya during the attack on militia patrol in Grozny and collision in Argun. Four of them were militiamen (at least three had been sent from other regions), one was a serviceman from internal troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and two, presumably, were members of illegal armed formations.

All the fifteen wounded persons mentioned by mass media are employees of law enforcement bodies. Six out of them were injured during the fight in the Chechen city of Argun, five - as a result of shelling and explosions in Ingushetia, and four more were blown up in their cars by mine explosions in the Dagestan city of Khasavyurt.
