Independent Information Center's services are available not only to journalists

The Independent Information Center (IIC) has been created within the limits of the project "The Media in the Election Process" brought about by Internews Azerbaijan and the Press Club of Baku with the support of the Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation). Arif Aliyev, the head of the Yeni Nesil journalist union, told it to journalists at a briefing.

The main task of the IIC, as Aliyev noted, is to provide comprehensive aid for the media in the coverage of various aspects of the election struggle for the post of the state's head.

Beginning from October 1 "The CII Bulletin" will appear daily. It will introduce readers to election platforms of the presidential contenders, the course of the election campaign in the country, tell about international election experience.
