MoD of South Ossetia: Georgia shells Tskhinvali

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of South Ossetia has reported that today the city of Tskhinvali was shelled from the side of Georgia. There is no data about any victims.

The Ossetian party gave no response to the provocation, as reported by the "Ossetian Radio" with reference to the Republic's MoD.

The Georgian party gave no reaction to the news.

The incident has continued the series of confrontations between Georgia and South Ossetia, where after the August conflict in 2008 the situation is still very tense.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of South Ossetia reported that on March 25 South-Ossetian village of Mugut was shelled from the Georgian side. There were no victims.
