42 lawsuits of Borozdinovskaya residents will be considered separately

Each of the forty-two claims lodged by residents of Chechen village of Borozdinovskaya versus the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation on compensation of moral damage will be considered separately. This decision was made by the Presnenskiy Court of Moscow, the "Interfax" reports.

The residents are going to collect 126 million roubles from the Ministry for the clean-up ("zachistka") held in their village. The statement of claim runs that over 200 village residents had suffered from the actions of the "Vostok" (East) Battalion fighters. In particular, "the residents were forced to leave the village and stay for eighteen months already in a forced migrants' camp unable to get back to their homes."
