Moscow metro terror act perpetrators have got life sentences

The Moscow City Court has sentenced the three persons accused on the case of acts of terror in Moscow metro in 2004 - at the "Rizhskaya" station and in the leg between the "Paveletskaya" and "Avtozavodskaya" stations to life imprisonment.

The Court has found the defendants - Maxim Panaryin, Tambij Hubiev and Murat Shavaev - guilty of involvement in acts of terror (Article 205 of the Criminal Code - "terrorism"), the "Interfax" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has informed earlier that on August 31, 2004, a bomb was exploded near the "Rizhskaya" station by a terrorist woman-self-bomber. Ten persons were killed, 30 more were wounded. The explosion in the Moscow metro between the stations "Avtozavodskaya" and "Paveletskaya" took place in the morning on February 6, 2004, during the rush hours. As a result of the explosion accomplished by a terrorist-self-bomber, 41 persons were killed, about 250 more were wounded.
