Pressure on the officer who gave up Azerbaijani citizenship continues

The command of the Nakhichevan military unit, where Colonel-Lieutenant of Azerbaijani National Army Rasim Muradov is taking his service, continues to exert pressure on him, the Day.Az reports.

R. Muradov has informed: "After I've passed medical examination, doctors told me that I should be immediately hospitalized. However, the military command would not let me to take my treatment. ...Today in the morning they came after me saying that they'd send me to hospital. However, it turned out that they again made the court of honour on me in order to drop my rank."

The Colonel-Lieutenant has marked that now "he is a rightless person, who can be arrested, brought down to the lowest military rank and rejected the necessary treatment."

We remind you that today Colonel-Lieutenant Rasim Muradov is fighting for his right to retire after his 21 years of army service. However, the supreme military command would not satisfy his request for resignation. In the opinion of R. Muradov, he is under pressure, because earlier he had made public the facts on illegal actions of officers of military units, where the Colonel-Lieutenant had served.
