Russia's Ministry of Nature challenges the Adygea ecologists' victory in the trial on Sochi National Park

The consideration of the cassations lodged by the RF Ministry for Natural Resources (MNR) of the Russian Federation and the RF "Rosprirodnadzor" (Environment Supervisory Division) under the MNR at the Supreme Court of Adygea is appointed on November 2. In the opinion of their opponent ecologist Valery Brinikh, it is a record short term for considering the case by the judicial instances of the Republic, which evidences the presence of a "special order".

The interlocutor of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent believes that the "special order" was not only to consider the case as quickly as possible, but also to close it. That is, to change the decision of the first instance - the Maikop City Court.

The cassations of the MNR and "Rosprirodnadzor" are challenging the procedural points only, Valery Brinikh has noted. As to an essence of the claim, that is, to recognize the new zoning of the Sochi National Park to be illegal, there are no objections.

"The reasons provided in our statement of claim are really difficult to overturn," he said. "Therefore, the respondents are trying to prove, in particular, that I'm not the person whose rights were broken and had no grounds bases to bring a legal statement. Besides, the respondents are stating that the claims were moved to one set of respondents, and the court made decision in relation to other persons."

"I see only one possibility to cancel the decision of the first instance court," the ecologist has also noted. "If the Board of the Supreme Court of Adygea is under pressure, and they are forced to make a decision contrary to the law."
