Arrest of supposed instigators of Kondopoga disorders extended by three months

Today, the Supreme Court of Karelia has prolonged by 3 months, till October 29, 2008, the custody term for the persons accused on the case of Kondopoga disorders.

The court spokesman said that the earlier defined custody term for Magomed Akhmadov, Aslanbek Bakanaev, Magomed Kamilov, Gerikhan Magomadov, Islam Magomadov and Said-Magomed Edilsultanov expires on July 29.

The court has rejected the advocates' petition on changing the defendants' freedom restriction mode, finding no sufficient grounds for that, the ITAR-TASS reports.
