Explosion near Ingushetia MoI: 5 wounded, 2 killed

The explosion near the Ingushetia MoI headquarters on the morning of July 30 resulted in the death of two officers of the RF MoI Temporary Operating Group. Five more persons, including a five-year-old child, suffered from various wounds.

"The explosion which took place today in the morning at the parking lot of the republic's MoI in Nazran resulted in the death of two officers of the joint militia unit of RF MoI for Nizhni Novgorod. They are Vladimir Lizunov, 30, and Sergei Oleinov, 47. Four militiamen more suffered from different wounds. A 5-year-old child who sat in the car of a MoI officer suffered, too",  report representatives of the Investigation Department for Ingushetia, Investigation Committee under the RF Prosecutor's Office, to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The explosive device was placed in a car parked at the parking lot near the Ingushetia MoI headquarters. The parking lot is located near the side entrance to the building territory, MoI officers usually leave their private and service cars there.

As a result of the incident, virtually all cars at the parking lot were damaged, i.e. 20 cars, 13 of which burnt out completely. Additionally, private houses and buildings nearby were partially damaged.

The information on the explosive device power is contradictory. According to some data, it was equivalent to  more than 50 kg of trotyl, while according to the local law enforcement officers, the explosion power was equivalent to 3-4 kg of trotyl.
