Editor-in-chief of "Ingushetia.ru" to apply for political asylum in Europe

Roza Malsagova, editor-in-chief of "Ingushetia.ru" site, has left Russia and intends to apply for political asylum in a European country. This information has been provided by Kaloy Akhilgov, the site lawyer.

The "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier that the Kuntsevo district court of Moscow had stopped the activity of  "Ingushetia.Ru", granting the suit of Ingushetia prosecutor's office which claims that the site disseminated information of extremist character.

"Malsagova has left for Europe, I am not sure to which country. I have no telephone communication with her but we communicate by e-mail", said Akhilgov today.

"Malsagova intends to apply for political asylum in Europe because five or six criminal cases have been initiated against her here. Doubtlessly, all of them are connected with her activity on the "Ingushetia.Ru", cites "Interfax" Akhilgov's statement.
