In Argun, the third city of Chechnya, armed persons in camouflage kidnapped a resident of the Kurchaloy District.
The incident took place in the afternoon on August 27 in one of the central streets of Argun. Two men in uniform, armed with automatic firearms, forced Hadjmuradov, a resident of the Kurchaloy District, into a Zhiguli car and disappeared in an unknown direction.
"Last night, citizen Hadjmuradov, a resident of Niki-Khita village, Kurchaloy District, addressed the Argun GOVD (City Militia Department) and said that in the afternoon on August 27, near the building of the 'Rosselkhozbank' in the Sakharozavodskaya Street, two men in camouflage under threat of weapons forced his brother into a Zhiguli car and drove away in an unknown direction.
