North Ossetia bewails victims of terror act in Vladikavkaz

Today, North Ossetia parts with the victims of the terror act committed on November 6 in Vladikavkaz. The mourning was announced in the republic.

Residents of North Ossetia light candles and lay flowers in the Friendship Square, where the fixed-route taxi was blown up. Candles and flowers are there since morning. The place was visited by head of the republic Taimuraz Mamsurov, students of Vladikavkaz higher schools and city dwellers.

Ten houses of Vladikavkaz hold mourning requiems today. The authorities have cancelled all entertaining events, the ITAR-TASS reports. In spite of the fact that the traffic in the Square was re-opened, the place, so crowded before the terror act, is almost deserted.

The families of the casualties received 25,000 roubles each for organizing the funerals. Also, they will get 300,000 more as material aid. Those heavily wounded will get 100,000 roubles, and those slightly injured - 50,000 roubles each, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

According to the latest data, as a result of the terror act, 7 persons were killed right in situ, 5 more died on the way or in the hospital. In total, 43 persons were brought to treatment and prophylaxis establishments of the capital of North Ossetia, 5 of them were assisted and sent home. Seven victims were sent to Moscow for treatment today.
