Volunteers spread information about children's rights in Rostov

The International Society Memorial and the Rostov Foundation for Social Technologies arranged a joint action in Rostov-on-Don on May 25. It was devoted to the rights of the child.

The organizers had prepared the project for a year. Their goal is to spread knowledge about the Rights of the Child adopted by the United Nations. Volunteers from Lyceum 33 distributed booklets among students in 10 schools of the city. These booklets hold situations that children and teenagers get into when unprincipled adults infringe upon their rights and explanations how to act in different cases. The volunteers answered questions that appeared during the action. They had gained legal knowledge in public centers of the Foundation for Social Technologies eagerly, master of Lyceum 33 Tatyana Shevchenko said. Students' parents who came to the schools to attend the Last Ring celebration were also given the booklets.
