A strong explosion in Grozny with wounded persons

An explosion took place in the Leninskiy District of the capital of Chechnya and wounded, according to different sources, from one to six persons.

As reported by law enforcement bodies, the explosion was triggered in the Oilers' Mini-Park near the fountain, close to the office of the "Grozneftegaz" and not far from the office of the "Rosselkhozbank". The bomb was planted in a garbage bin, as reported by the ITAR-TASS.

The spokesman of the Investigatory Department (ID) for Chechnya of the ICPO has reported that six persons received various gravity wounds. Among the victims was the militiaman who was on duty in the Mini-Park and two women. All of them were hospitalized.

According to other sources, one person suffered in the explosion. Criminalists are now working in the place of the incident; they try to find out the power and the type of the bomb, as remarked by the IA "Trend".
