President of Ingushetia works with documents and can receive visitors

President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who was wounded in an attempt on June 22, is in consciousness, works with documents and can receive visitors. This was reported today by Adam Gazdiev, press secretary of the permanent representative of Ingushetia at the President of Russia.

"We anticipate prompt recovery of the President and hope that within two weeks we'll be allowed to visit him. The point is not in his ability, we just wait for doctors' permit," the "NEWSru.com" quotes Mr Gazdiev as saying.

However, according to doctors, President of Ingushetia cannot speak yet. "He is in consciousness, but because of the equipment, which supports his vital functions, dialogue with him is hardly possible," the "Dni.Ru" quotes its medical Moscow-based source.
