Nagorno-Karabakh residents are disturbed with refusal of OSCE's mediators to visit the republic

The co-chairs of the Minsk OSCE Group for settling Nagorno-Karabakh conflict refused to visit Nagorno-Karabakh, making reference to bad weather.

This is already the third refusal to come to the republic during this year. Previous visits planned in April and May also failed under the same motive of bad weather conditions.

"While visiting the region, the co-chairs of the Minsk Group of the OSCE for the third time refuse to visit Stepanakert, referring to bad weather. It gives rise to various assumptions and doubts," Taron Akopyan, chairman of the Karabakh-based NGO "Revived Homeland", has stated to journalists.

"We have good roads. I go three times a week to Yerevan and back, and I see no obstacles on the roads," Vitaly Grigoryan, a driver of a route minibus Stepanakert-Yerevan asserts. "Should they want, the mediators could have quite easily arrived in Stepanakert."

  • Analysts assess Dagestani head’s statement on appeals of SMO fighters

The appeals of the participants of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine from Dagestan to republic’s authorities are caused by many local problems and remain one of the ways to attract officials’ attention.
