Streets of the town will be named after the militiamen who perished during the recent terrorist act in Grozny. This was announced today by Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov who calls the terrorist act an indication of the agony of militants and an abortive attempt to draw away the forces of the law enforcement bodies from the region where the special operation was conducted.
For reference, an explosive device on the body of a suicide terrorist triggered on July 26 near the concert hall in the Chechen capital center. Six persons died at the site from the wounds inflicted by the explosion. They are four militia officers, the terrorist himself and a Turkish citizen who was a construction engineer. One more wounded person, a citizen of Georgia, died later at the hospital. The explosion resulted in wounding four more persons, including three internal affairs department officers.
Kadyrov has ordered to prepare documents for naming the school where Ismail Bisultanov, one of the victims, studied, after him. According to him, the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation allocates 10,000 dollars to each family of the militiamen killed in the recent terrorist act in Grozny.
Rashid Nurgaliyev, Russian Minister of Internal Affairs, has ordered to prepare documents for awarding high state decorations to the perished militiamen, reports "Interfax".
Kadyrov himself has relayed today that he had an invitation card and intended to see the play "City Built on Ice" staged at the concert hall of Grozny when the self-killer exploded himself near it, reports ITAR-TASS.
According to Kadyrov, hundreds of women and children were in the hall, and the criminal intended to burst inside and explode the device there. However, the suicide terrorist was stopped at the entrance for a documents check and then exploded the device.
