Residents of Ingushetia who move to Urals Mountains will get houses and travelling allowances

The Ingushes who will resettle to the Sverdlovsk Region will be provided with accommodation and receive travelling allowances at a rate of 50-60 thousand roubles per capable family member. The administration of the Ingush President said that before mid-November an agreement will be signed by the republic's leaders and authorities of the Sverdlovsk Region about possible resettlement of Ingushes to agricultural areas of the Region.

Let us remind you that initially resettlement was talked by Abdul-Mutalib Bogatyryov, plenipotentiary representative of Ingushetia in the Sverdlovsk Region. According to his version, one of the first orders that he had received from Ingush leaders was to take care of the conditions for employment of the republic's migrants in rural territories of the Sverdlovsk Region. The preliminary agreement was reached in May during the meeting of President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov and Sverdlovsk Governor Eduard Rossel.

According to Kaloy Akhilgov, press secretary of the President of Ingushetia, before mid-November a draft agreement dealing with possible resettlement of Ingushes to rural territories of Sverdlovsk Region will be sent to the authorities of the region. "Then, a delegation from Ingushetia headed by the President will go there to sign the agreement," Mr Akhilgov said in his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

He has explained that the Sverdlovsk Region has a highly developed agrarian sector but lacks workers; however, resettlement will be voluntary: "There's no enforcement; everyone who wants to resettle can go and get conditions for working in agriculture."

According to his version, the migrants will be accommodated - they will be provided with private houses. "The Sverdlovsk Region has many settlements abandoned by residents. Now the district bosses make a database of such settlements, where there are empty houses," said Akhilgov.

The migrants will be provided with allowances enough for the first time. According to Kaloy Akhilgov, every capable family member will get some 50-60 thousand roubles. "An average Ingush family has 6-7 persons; therefore, such family can get 350-400 thousand roubles," the press secretary has explained.

"As of today, the South Federal District (SFD) has about 600,000 officially registered jobless workers. Most of them are in Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia. The economy of Ingushetia, for example, is by 93 percent funded by the federal centre, and 40 percent of the population live below the subsistence level," said Ivan Sydoruk, Deputy General Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation.
