Son of the first President of Georgia goes on hunger strike

The Tbilisi City Court has accused Tsotne, the son of the first President of Georgia Zviad Gamsakhurdia, of a murder attempt, illegal purchase, storage and bearing of arms. Ketevan Bekauri, Zviad's advocate, told journalists about it.

According to her version, Tsotne Gamsakhurdia rejects all the charges and started a hunger strike, demanding his release.

The freedom restriction measure for Tsotne will be announced on October 30.
