Major Dymovskiy from Novorossisk asserts that he is shadowed

Late in the evening on November 8, Militia Major Alexei Dymovskiy said at the press conference that outdoor surveillance after him was established. After the press conference he found that his car was opened, despite the installed signalling system.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Militia Major Dymovskiy placed in the Internet his video appeal to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, telling about numerous malversations of militia bosses, in particular, heads of the UVD (City Interior Department) of Novorossisk.

On November 8, Alexei Dymovskiy gave a press conference in one of Novorossisk cafes. He gave detailed answers to journalists' questions and said, in particular, that he was shadowed, but he would not give up and agreed to use the help offered by Novorossisk human rights activists.

After the press conference, Alexei found that his car had been opened, although it was equipped with a signalling system. Nothing was kidnapped from the car. Later, his car was followed, as he believes, by "agencies", that is, by the MIA or FSB. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Vadim Karastelyov, one of the organizers of the press conference and expert of the Novorossisk Committee on Human Rights.

Mr Dymovskiy has already reported that he fears for his and his family's safety. He also said that after he had published his video appeal to Premier Vladimir Putin in the Internet, he and his employees felt pressure from their militia bosses.

Members of the Russian Public Chamber said that they were ready to take Dymovskiy under their protection.

Yesterday, on November 8, acting head of the Novorossisk UVD Vladimir Grebenyuk had a meeting with local human rights activists and promised to set up a public board with attraction of human rights activists for investigating the facts presented by Alexei Dymovskiy.

"At the meeting, Grebenyuk said that he had not signed the order to dismiss Dymovskiy and was not going to dismiss him. The only thing that Grebenyuk was going to do - issue an order on his incomplete service adequacy," said Mr Karastelyov.

Later, information was disseminated that the top managers of the GUVD (Chief Interior Department) for the Krasnodar Territory decided to dismiss from militia employee of the Novorossisk UVD Alexei Dymovskiy for slandering his colleagues. This was told to the media by Valery Gribakin, head of the PR Department of the MIA of Russia, who asserted that a check had been conducted on Dymovskiy's appeal and established that the words of the senior operative officer "had nothing to do with reality."

Let us note that on November 8 Rashid Nurgaliev, head of the Russian MIA, appointed a service check on the facts presented in Alexei Dymovskiy's appeal to country leaders.

The trade union of Moscow militiamen plans to support their Novorossisk colleague Alexei Dymovskiy. This was stated by Mikhail Pashkin, chairman of the union's coordination board. According to his story, everything what Dymovskiy said was "bare truth".

Polina Gerasimova, inspector on mass media of the Novorossisk UVD, said that all Dymovskiy's colleagues, that is, employees of the criminal investigation division, held a meeting and spoke against the Major's act. According to her story, "operative agents execute their service not to become rich, but to fulfil their life mission."
