The judicial panel for criminal cases of the Supreme Court has upheld the verdict of the Stavropol Territorial Court to Igor Sokolov and Abubakar Mezhiev, both aged 39, who took part in the attack on Budyonnovsk in 1995. They will serve their terms at the general regime colony, as the General Prosecutor's Office has reported.

Igor Sokolov was sentenced to 13 years, and Abubakar Mezhiev - to 11 years of imprisonment in a general regime corrective colony, as reported by the "Rosbalt".
