Major Dymovskiy asks prosecutors to postpone interrogation

The former employee of the UVD (Interior Department) of Novorossisk Alexei Dymovskiy, in whose relation a criminal case was opened, was summoned today for interrogation to the prosecutor's office, but he asked there to postpone the investigatory action.

The investigatory bodies of the Krasnodar Territory accuse Mr Dymovskiy under the article of "swindle with use of one's service position". The ex-militiaman asserts that the investigation is biased.

According to his version, he is going to petition before the inspector on postponing the interrogation, since his lawyer has not yet arrived Novosibirsk.

Major Dymovskiy has added that his lawyer was to arrive at 2:40 p.m., and he asked to reappoint the interrogation either on 4:00 p.m. today or on December 30, as the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

Earlier he said that he would not go to the interrogation, and would send his lawyer instead. He explained that the lawyer should take the statement on initiation of the criminal case from the inspector. "I have no documents and I don't know why the criminal case was opened," the "YUGA.Ru" quotes Dymovskiy as saying. He also referred to a hand burn that he suffered when the handle broke off his kettle.
