Moscow City Court reappoints consideration of Kadyrov's and Orlov's complaints to January 21
Today, after Andrei Krasnenkov, Ramzan Kadyrov's lawyer, presented at the Court session an opinion to the respondents' complaint, the consideration of the cassation complaints lodged by Kadyrov and Oleg Orlov, head of the HRC "Memorial", against the decision of the Tver Court was postponed.
The cassation board of the Moscow City Court gave time to the parties to prepare a corresponding response and acquaint themselves with the necessary documents till January 21.
According to Oleg Orlov, the trial was postponed for "purely formal reasons." As he said, the responding party "did not plan to submit a written response, we were ready to announce it orally," and treated the court decision as "senseless protracting the process," as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
Mr Krasnenkov said, in his turn, that he had in his practice similar postponements. "Judges are keen, and, possibly, that had their own reasons that we just don't know," the "Interfax" quotes him as saying.
