Figurant in Markelov's murder case faces charge re-formulation
Nikita Tikhonov, a figurant in the murder case of lawyer Stanislav Markelov, is now incriminated "murder on motives of political and ideological enmity."
The "Gazeta.Ru" reports today, referring to a source close to the inquiry that earlier inspectors did not speak about Tikhonov's motives to assassinate Markelov.
Alexei Baranovskiy, Tikhonov's friend, explained, in his turn, that on February 23 Nikita asked inspectors to unite the Stanislav Markelov's murder case with the one on the murder of anti-fascist Alexander Ryukhin; however, inspectors refused to do it.
In the case of Alexander Ryukhin's murder Tikhonov figured as an accomplice and was announced into federal search. Lawyer Markelov was very active in insisting that all the participants of the anti-fascist's murder should be found.
