OMON motorcade shelled in Dagestan with victims
Today, unknown persons blew up and shelled a column of OMON (special militia) vehicles in Dagestan. Under preliminary data, 12 militiamen were wounded. The incident happened near the village of Gubden, Karabudakhkent District.
"A unit of OMON-1 was moving to the mountain part of the republic for performance of its mission. Near Gubden an explosive device was triggered, then, the column was shelled from automatic firearms. The skirmish continued for about two hours. 12 OMON fighters were wounded," the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan has reported.
The MIA's press service have confirmed the fact of the incident, the "Interfax" reports.
