In North Ossetia, suicide bomber who blew himself at militia post identified
The investigatory bodies of the ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office) for North Ossetia have establish the person of the suicide bomber, who blew himself up on August 17 at the militia check point in the administrative border of North Ossetia and Ingushetia.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on August 17 in the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia a suicide bomber blew himself up near the militia post.
"In the course of investigatory-operative actions, we managed to quickly identify the criminal: a resident of one of pre-border republics, aged 28," Maria Gatsoeva, press secretary of the ICPO Department for North Ossetia, reports.
She added that the investigation possesses data that the suicide bomber was linked with the bandit underground operating in the territory of the North-Caucasian region," the "Interfax" writes.
According to Soslan Sikoyev, deputy minister of internal affairs of North Ossetia, the surname of the suicide bomber is not disclosed in the interests of the inquiry.
