Paruyr Ayrikian: to change power in Armenia means to gain time in Karabakh problem
For the resolution of the Artsakh problem (Editor's note: Artsakh is the Armenian name for Karabakh) Armenia must become a democratic country. Chairman of the National Self-Determination association Paruyr Ayrikian expressed such an opinion to journalists. To achieve internationally acceptable solutions to the Artsakh problem, the power must change in Armenia, he pointed out. But it must pass to democracy and not to either, one or another politician. According to him, Robert Kocharyan and his circle are just trying to extend their predetermined defeat. According to Paruyr Ayrikian's words, had the authorities just a little respect and love for Artsakh they would understand their main mission is to renounce the power. "In this case we will not only gain time but also will have a serious support," thinks Mr. Ayrikian.
