IC: deputy wounded and his relative killed in Dagestan

According to obtained information, as a result of an armed attack in the city of Makhachkala, Gadjibutta Alunkachaev, the deputy of the District Assembly of Novolakskoe District of Dagestan, was wounded and his relative was killed. This was reported by the Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee (IC) of Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" reported that this afternoon an unidentified man opened fire at two men in Makhachkala. According to preliminary information, both men died. Later, it was reported that one of the assassinated men was active deputy and ex-Deputy of the Chief of the Novolakskoe District of Dagestan.

"According to specified data, Gadjibutta Alunkachaev was seriously wounded and he underwent surgery in a hospital. His relative Rasul Akhmedov, a resident of Novolakskoe District, who was Alunkachaev's driver, was killed. An investigatory team studies the venue," said the representative of the Investigatory Department.

The incident involving the use of arms took place in Makhachkala in the hairdressing salon "Chance" at about 12:30 Moscow time. The unidentified man used a handgun, the "Interfax" reports.
