State Labour Inspectorate accuses "Dagestani Airlines" of breaking invalids' rights

Employees of the State Labour Inspectorate in the Republic of Dagestan and the Makhachkala Transport Prosecutor's Office have revealed numerous violations in the activities of the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Dagestani Airlines".

According to inspectors, the air company fails to present data on its average manpower to population employment agencies, for the latter to fix quotas for employment of invalids.

Moreover, according to the inspection outcomes, the territory of OJSC "Dagestani Airlines" lacks information support on invalids' travel routes, parking places for invalids' cars and handrails on exterior stairs and ramps; the ramps fail to meet the existing requirements (slope should not exceed 8 percent). The buildings of the OJSC lack ways and equipment for lifting invalids to the second level and up, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

After the inspection, the OJSC "Dagestani Airlines" was prescribed to eliminate the revealed drawbacks, said the website of the State Labour Inspectorate of the Republic of Dagestan.

So far, the OJSC "Dagestani Airlines" has made no comments on the aforesaid.
