Two residents of Chechnya addressed Kadyrov during the "hotline" session and got computers

On September 3, the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov held a live TV dialogue with residents of the republic, during which a "hotline" telephone was on at the "Grozny" TV Channel. The session lasted for 3.5 hours; Mr Kadyrov answered to more than 100 questions; and it is already known that two residents who had addressed him received computers; one family was granted a car.

Karimov: residents who addressed Kadyrov did not mention security issues

Those who called Kadyrov raised problems of small and medium businesses, construction of affordable housing and creating conditions for population to return to mountainous areas of the republic. He also received more than 46,000 SMS-messages with requests to solve housing problem, help with specialized treatment in other cities and in finding jobs.

This year's applications of citizens were greatly different from those received earlier - there were virtually no calls or messages on ensuring security, notes the website of the head and government of the Chechen Republic.

At the same time, Alvi Karimov, Kadyrov's press secretary, asserts that calls and messages were not filtered; and there was no censorship. "Telephones were standing right in front of Ramzan Akhmatovich, two units. We had contacted no one in advance," he said.

Some addressers received Kadyrov's gifts

According to Karimov, now they finalize a detailed analysis of all received questions.

Among specific requests, he mentioned a call from a boy from Vedeno, who said that he was a vision impaired invalid and asked for a special computer. "We're sure that he had received the computer before morning," stated Karimov.

According to his story, already this morning the Fund named after Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov has bought a car for the husband of another woman-resident of the republic, who told on air about heavy material problems of her family, and "should the husband have a car, he would earn their living by working as a taxi driver."

Let us note here that the republic's authorities had reported about some of their fulfilled actions on people's appeals even before the "hotline".

In particular, as noted in the news release of the "Grozny" TV Channel on September 2, which is also available at the channel's website, the Prefect of the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny Idris Abubakarov went to visit Adnan Ataev, who had sent an SMS-message to Kadyrov with a request to buy him a computer. The Prefect gave a computer to the teenager and, as noted in the news release, recommended to use it solely for the purpose of intellectual development.

Another resident sent an SMS-message asking to repair the road leading from the Nozhai-Yurt to two villages of the Nozhai-Yurt District. Journalists noted that roads in the district are gravel-coated by 80 percent, and they were damaged by recent heavy rains. They evidenced that after the local's appeal to the "hotline", equipment appeared on the road, and repairs started.

Alvi Karimov also said that among those who had addressed the Chechen leader were people, who live abroad - in Norway, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, France and other countries.
